laughed at in pregame wondering what i was thinking when i chose the # but averaged 3 td’s a game and every1 asked y i did pick it….the answer is RED GRANGE….often i was asked who’s that?…great player
Exactly, have these … Exactly, have these retards don’t realize these guys probably hardly ever did in any serious body conditioning training. They don’t understand the concept of keeping things within context on a relative scale. But then again none of these kids are real football fans, they just follow it cause of all that fantasy football crap: stats, and more stats hah.
Does anybody know … Does anybody know of any of this footage being out there? Aside from a half newsreel here on YT, I can’t track down anything else. Some of the quality of the footage included here is really good! It’s a shame the NFL doesn’t make any of their archived footage available for purchase.
Let’s not forget … Let’s not forget that during Grange’s time, the players went both ways with very limited substitution. Grange was not only a running back but a defensive back as well. His numbers would’ve been even better if he’d only had to play offense. Try to imagine some of today’s pros as two way players.
