I taped this race …
I taped this race on vhs as it happened & when she came out of the tunnel @ the Colisium that final lap is right up there w/1980 Olympic Hockey Kirk Gibson 1988 home run…..that was a great 2 weeks in summer ‘84.

By the way, I thought a long stride wasn’t necessary during a marathon.
