If a world-class runner got a sex change, would he be allowed to compete in events for his new gender?

So….let’s say Asafa Powell gets a sex change. Would he be allowed to compete in womens’ sprint events?

No. The test for gender is genetic, done at the same time as the every other blood test prior to races. Genes don’t change with the physical alterations of the surgury.
