gilera runner 50cc no spark?

O.K.Could be the magneto moving but I’ve never known it.It’s more likely to be the CDI/coil unit. These are so unreliable that Piaggio/Gilera actually supply a spare one with the bike to the dealership when it is brand new and not yet even ready for purchace(although no dealership will ever tell you this)In all honesty it can only be this, the spark plug or the stator plate/pick up.There is nothing else in the ignition system.I’m 99% sure it will be the CDI.

could be many things, usual first check/change the spark plug, you could check this on another bike/car. but only put the same model in your bike.

These were always prone to the magneto key sheering off, the magneto would turn a touch on the crank and "no spark"
