l love this … l love this commercial – one of my all time favourities. Rome may be the immortal city of the Old World, but New York is indeed the immortal city of the NEW WORLD ! I LOVE NEW YORK !
I got chills … I got chills watching this! Great time to be there!Actually, in retrospect, I wonder if it’s because I moved there in 1976 when i was 17 that made it so great, or if it really WAS that great.Would love some input. Thanks
Does anyone else … Does anyone else remember when Elizabeth Taylor appeared in these commericals? She said I love New York it makes my heart beat faster?
Wonderful, I … Wonderful, I remember the premiere party for this ad campaign, at Studio 54, I was working there then, and I remember the magic of falling in love with a city, I still feel that watching this clip, timeless!!!
This is one of the … This is one of the best thought out ad commericals for the city of New York. When I first saw it back in the 70′s it really made me think. Now seeing it again, it makes me think and makes me almost cry. We need something like this now for the mess we, so the outlook will at least seem a little brighter. Because of this ad years ago, I went to New York and fell in love with the City.
Thanks for posting this video….
