I have carpet runners in the hall way. The corners turn up and friend almost trip. How can I fix the corners?

There is backing you can buy at almost any store, WalMart, KMart, this type of store. It is rubber type material and comes in different sizes; runners are among the sizes. You simply cut the size you need if it is too large, place it down and put your rug on top. It prevents it from slipping or sliding around, keeps it stable, and really works. I have all area rugs on my hardwood floors and purchased them for all my rugs.

Try cardboard with double stick tape underneath the corners. This should prevent the rug from curling up at the edges.
