which yamaha waverunner 05 to 08 is the best?

i am looking to get a wave runner and i would love to buy the new yamaha FZR but were looking to get two so i was wondering which older models (nothing older than 2005) would be the best. i want a 1-2 seater that is fast and can jump waves.

Yamaha are the best Personal watercraft! Seadoo is goo too, honda only started making them in the past few years. Polaris is a bucket of cra! and have stopped making them. but 4 stroke as the fuel range is twice that of 2 stroke and you save on buying 2stroke oil too. saving can be make in 1 year if you use it a lot. buy new of from a dealer, a many do not look after their crafts, and if any parts are missing, the parts are nuts expensive. I am an Instructor and been riding watercrafts for many years, speedboats more than 25 years, you Will be shafted, unless very lucky. New is best, but I’m giving you good advice go to a dealer! best of luck, and enjoy

    I’m not a fan of Yamahas. I have a 2001 Polaris and I love it…it’s a three seater than can top 70 mph and pull a skier or tuber.

    Shop around. There are other brands out there that are better than Yamaha.
