momentum = mass x velocity
velocity = momentum/mass = 218kgm/s / 52 kg = 4.2 m/s

home depot or lowes sell a product just for this. you put it underneath each corner of the rug and it stops the curling and prevents people from tripping.
Hi, I’m trying to inspire my middle school track kids (there just starting out) and I wanted to give them some examples of great track runners who didn’t start out so great at first, but with hard work and determination have succeeded. Thank You!
Louis zamperini. Hope I spelled that right.
He had a really troubled childhood but channeled it all into running and broke the record for the fastest lap while running the Olympic mile
If not, what more do I need?
Also, how long should I wait to install the runner after painting the stairs?
Personal experience, anecdotes, etc. will be most helpful.
Thanks in advance!

I want to put a 70cc kit on my Gilera Runner.
Firstly any recommended kits that are better?
What carb/jet sizes will i need?
Any advice would be appreciated ![]()
Thanks
Firstly make sure any 70cc kit you get will fit a Piaggio type engine. If you get a high-end 70cc kit you will need a bigger carb, 17,5 would do fine. For the jet size, i would say for a start, get one around 95 or so, smaller chance of overheating or destroying your engine if your running rich. If 95 is too big, move down 5 sizes and try again. If it feels too lean(engine revs to max in just 1/2 turn of the throttle) get a bigger jet. There are a lot of scooter-tuning forums where you could ask, people there are very friendly.
I have had a 180 SP, before and batter was under the seat. I am just having trouble locating the batter on the FX model I bought yesterday. What do I need to take off to get to the battery?
I had one as a teen and I’m sure it was between were your feet go!!! But not%100 but worth a look.
I will be taking it off in the spring. Do I use nails or screws? What kind/size? Where should I place them?
can we have a group hug, now?
I need to know the distance between the roof runners on a 2005 Renault Espace MK IV
I don’t know but it looks like you have the vehicle, try measuring them.
I have a wool carpet runner installed on my stairs. Yesterday my dog had an accident and peed down the stairs. I used Dawn dish soap to try to clean the stain at first, but now I have blue stains from the Dawn. I tried Woolite carpet cleaner, but that didn’t work to get the blue out. I’m trying not to resort to a professional cleaner if I don’t have to. Any suggestions? Thanks!
The blue stain is from using blue colored Dawn dish soap.The carpet is a light cream color.
Rinse the spot with warm water to remove the dish washing detergent until the blue is gone.With one part white vinegar and 3 parts water wet the spot and soak up with a sponge or an old towel. Repeat several times. This will clean up the doggy pee and deoderise the spot. If any odour left when the carpet is dry, sprinkle bicarb soda over the spot and leave for a day or so. Vacuum up.
White vinegar deoderises, helps prevent colours fading and is a natural antibacterial. One part white vinegar and one part water in a spray bottle can be sprayed to deoderise rooms (cheaper than fabreeze) and on kitchen benchtops to "sanitise" them.
Bicarb soda is also an odour eater and works wonders in the laundry as a booster for washing detergent.
I’m looking to get a subscription to a runners/running magazine for someone who is just starting to be a competitive runner (training for about 1 year and doing 5 & 10 k’s, half marathons) and I have no idea which to choose. Two that come to mind are Runners world and Running Times. I’m looking for the most well rounded magazine for all things running. Any thoughts from anyone out there?
Pre-race warm-up clothes can be taken off and put in the bag right before you check it…keeping you warm up to the last minute! You can change into them right after the race. If you plan to wear "throwaway clothes" that you’ll ditch early in the race, pack a change of clothes in your bag for afterward. Whether it’s warm or cold, changing out of wet running clothes after a long race will help keep you from getting chilled, especially if you have a long walk back to your hotel or your car.
